I am a retired Chief Petty Officer with the United States Coast Guard where I spent 21 years in the service of others. I understand that there are a lot of things that can go wrong with a vessel over its lifetime. It is my belief that it is crucial to have an impartial set of eyes go through any potential vessel purchase, no matter the size, with your safety and security (not to mention your money) in mind. Looking beyond my decades of experience operating, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing Coast Guard assets, I am a proud graduate of the Charles F. Chapman School of Seamanship "Yacht and Small Craft Surveying" course. Additionally, I am an American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) Advisor and a SAMS Accredited Marine Surveyor (AMS®) in good standing.
